Oprah Winfrey was born January 25, 1954 in Mississippi. When Winfrey was six her and her mother moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In her teens, her mother sent her away to live with her father which was good for Winfrey. At nineteen, Oprah became a news anchor for a local CBS television station.

Winfrey went to Tennessee university. She did not graduate when she was supposed to, she felt that it wasn't necessary to graduate college.

Oprah's parents are Vernon Winfrey and Vernita Lee. She also has three siblings and their names are Jeffrey Lee, Patricia Lee and Patricia Lloyd. Winfrey got married in 1986.

Sadly in November of 2018 at the age 83, Oprah's mother died but know one knows quite how she died. Also her brother Jeffrey died in 1989. Her sister Patricia Lee died in 2003.

Yes, she is still famous to this day and at the age of 64. She is still blazing her trail to greatness in many different ways.
