Presented by Karl Cagulada, John Birdwell, Grace Pigeon, Michael Tanjuakio
- A host was left on a candle holder in the back of the church
- It could not be eaten so the priest submerged it in water and then placed it in the tabernacle
- The next morning, when he opened the tabernacle, he found that the host had turned into a bloody piece of flesh
Date: August 18, 1996, 7pm
Place: Capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires
People Present: Fr. Alejandro Pezet, Dr. Frederic Zugiba
Since the host showed no signs of decomposition, Fr. Pezet decided to send it for testing:
- Analyzed by Dr. Frederic Zugiba, a famous forensic scientist
- Determined that the host was human and had turned into a fragment of the left ventricle of the heart, where Jesus was stabbed on the cross
- The sample had to have been taken while the person was still alive
- The sample indicated that it was taken while the heart was under great stress, as if the owner had been beaten
- Dr. Zugiba determined that the sample could not be explained by science
