About

THE FOUR PILLARS OF A HEALTHY TEACHER

Four Pillars of a healthy teacher presentation is based in UNESCO´s four Pillars of Education.

This presentation proposes to raise the life of an indispensable actor in the process of learning and acquiring knowledge.

Teachers are those professionals who invest their days to attend others in many ways. They deserve a better quality of life.

According to the UNESCO (2004) “in the changing educational

scenario, curriculum has to be a dynamic process of actual learning

acquisition and inquiry of the unknown through teacher – learner

interaction and cooperation”

  • Your Mindset is your collection of thoughts and beliefs that shape your thought habits. And your thought habits affect how you think, what you feel, and what you do. Your mind-set impacts how you make sense of the world, and how you make sense of you.

We also believe that as part of the process of education, teachers themselves should maintain a continuous process of personal reflection, within which they become aware of the personal and cultural values and beliefs that underpin their own and other people's actions

3. Try different learning tactics.

4. Follow the research on brain plasticity.

5. Replace the word “failing” with the word “learning.”

6. Stop seeking approval.

7. Value the process over the end result.

Learning had to imbibe in the students a mind set of pursuing lifelong education and at the same time equip them with competencies and skills needed for employment opportunities in the future

BELIEFS

Teachers’ beliefs, practices and attitudes are important for understanding and improving educational processes.

They are closely linked to teachers’ strategies for coping with challenges in their daily professional life and to their general well-being, and they shape students’ learning environment and influence student motivation and achievement.

The basis of spirituality rests on the idea that life is meaningful and that each person has a purpose.

While religion may serve as a component of spiritual health, people do not have to follow any specific religion to be spiritually healthy.

However, a common misconception is that people must maintain religious affiliations to reap the benefits of inner peace

But beyond religion, values, ethics, principles, and morals help shape one’s spiritual identity. These elements can exist independently of religion or coexist with your devotion.
