Ancient Greece The ancient Greeks developed new ideas for government, science, philosophy, religion, and art. We have learned a lot from them and we wouldn't be in they same place we are now if they didn't invent some of these things. Ancient Greeks loved sports and most cities in Ancient Greece had public gymnasiums where people gathered to train and relax. The Greeks believed that a healthy body was very important.

Looking nice and being clean was very important to the Egyptians. The pyramids were built as burial places and monuments to the Pharaohs. Pharaohs were Egypts kings they ruled their kingdom, or city-state. Incredible ancient monuments, scorching deserts and bustling cities – this ancient country is now a sprawling, modern landscape!
Differences of Egypt and Greece
In greece the land was split up into city-states there were rocy mountians and there were beautiful turquoise water surrounding there was for example Sparta and Athens. In Egypt they were one big city and all ruled the same way by the same leader. there were other differences as well but this was really noticeable.

With ancient Egypt their culture is very important to them and they hygene was as well they were always clean.
With ancient Greece, their learning and war was more important to them other than their general higene so they are different.
Mesopotamia
Mesopotamia were the first longer lasting group or ciilization. Mesopotamia actually means between two rivers, because the land was between two large rivers one being the Nile river. Many ancient civilizations used the Nile river in different time frames.

Without History
Without history we would just redo things over and over again. We wouldn't learn anything that had happend in the past. All the horrendous wars the people went through.. We would have to go through again and again, everyone would have to suffer like in the past.
With hisrtory we can learn from the pasts mistakes and improve our world. We can change things and make our world a better place. We can make it a place that people arrent scared to live in where in the past they might have been.
