  • For this research alone he spent ~5 years gather information and performing tests

  • In December of 2014, Marcus Eriksen, a well-known environmentalist who earned his PhD from University of Southern California, traveled every ocean and estimated that a minimum of 5.25 trillion particles of plastic that weigh about 268,940 tons are currently destroying our oceans and wildlife.

Chris Tyree and Dan Morrison

  • Chris Tyree is a graduate of Ohio University where he received his degree in visual communications

  • Dan Morrison is a notable author as he has published for companies such as the New York Times and National Geographic

  • In a study that Tyree and Morrison portray to us, it says that 94% of tap water in just the United States alone contains plastic fibers inside of it. Along with an average of 83% for the entire world.
