Assassin's Creed: Unity is a historical fiction video game developed by Ubisoft. The game was released in North America on November 11, 2014 and in Europe on November 13, 2014.1 It is the first game in the series released exclusively for consoles of the eighth generation and the first to introduce the cooperative multiplayer mode.

The game focuses on Paris, during the French Revolution. The killer protagonist is a new character named Arno Dorian, a Frenchman born in Versailles. After the death of his father, Arno is adopted by a family of the Order of the Templars. His adoptive father (the Templar master) is killed, which leads Arno to join the Brotherhood of the Assassins, where he will progressively ascend until reaching the rank of Assassin. Arno will have an ally named Elise de LaSerre, (the daughter of her adoptive father) with whom she develops a romantic relationship. She also wishes to take revenge for the death of her father by joining the Assassins.
