Mosquito Land, By: David Arnold
Book Review
In Mosquitoland the main character Mim meets interesting people and experiences many scary, fun and memorable moments on her journey to visit her. She decides to leave mississippi, where she lives with her dad and stepmom, and take a greyhound bus to cleveland where her mom is sick. On her adventure she writes letters every day to document her travel experiences.
Excerpt from Novel
“The man -- a greyhound employee named Carl, according to the damp patch on his button-down -- is huge. Lumbering, even. Still eyeballing me, he pulls a burrito out of nowhere, unwraps it, digs in.
Enchanté, Carl.
'This is the bus to Cleveland, right?' I rummage around in my bag. 'I have a ticket.'"

This book is one of those books that you will never want to put down. While I was reading it I was pretty busy with other school classes and activities but I always found time to read a few pages. I am not a huge fan of reading so I was really happy when I found a book and was actually enjoying reading it.
