Bandura

Who

Albert Bandura is a well-known social cognitive psychologist recognized for his social learning theory, the concept of self-efficacy, and his well-known bobo doll studies. He conducted the Bobo doll studies, which studied observational learning, in the 1960s.

What was His purpose....

Theory

His theory was that observation plays an important part in how and why individuals act the way they do. ddoo.

Methodology

WHAT

Albert Bandura conducted an experiment for the study of agression at Stanford’s nursery school using an inflatable plastic toy called Bobo dolls.

He verbally and physically abused the doll in front of the preschool aged childern to see if they would mimic the behaviors of adults.

The preschoolers were divided into three groups.....

Group One: observed aggressive adult behaviour models

The experiment

Group two: observed nonaggressive behaviour models

Group three: not exposed to any behaviour models

How would this apply to the real world?

How

The experiment's lesson is to be cautious when near children. Because children are still absorbing so much from growing up, they tend to pick up on tiny activities they watch others perform, especially if they're older.

What Happened in the end

End

If children were exposed to aggressive behavior at an early age, it naturally caused them to be more aggressive as adults.
