Nicolas: He is suspicious. he is suspicious because he had defensive gear in the water that Hansel was searching in. Also he wanted to put down Hansel for finding and destroying his gear.
Conflict
The conflict of the story is person vs person. It is this conflict because Ryan has to get the drive to the research center, but Nicolas has to try to stop him.

This is the theme because when Ryan and Hansel had to go through around 200 walrus's it was a rough time, but they fought through them.
Favorite Part

My favorite part was when Ryan had escaped with Hansel on the boat, but they got shot down. This is my favorite part because Ryan had to climb on Hansel, so Hansel could bring him to the ice so he doesn't die in the freezing water.
I recommend this book to people who like action books, and to 4th-7th graders.
