• The first factory that opened during the time of the industrial revolution was the Slater Mill in 1790 (which was a cotton-spinning factory
• James Hargraves was the person with the briliant idea to creat something that would make it much easier to seperate the cotton from its seeds in 1764.

• Because of people going to woek in factorys (because it was something that was open to all) people started to move out of the country side and started having to have citys
• The first so called "appaetments" were not the best and they had such little space so that they could put more and more homes and things changed with time that went by

• With everyone working everyone had to get paid for their work but the only thing that was bad about that is that the people with higher othotity kept most of the money for themselfs and paid very little to the workers.
• Men were getting paid way more then what women were getting because acording to people men were doing more then what women were.

Problems

Many Problems occured during the industrial revolution that made people get upset and this led to many changes wanting to happen to help the people.

• People dies because of the demanding working hours.
• People were not getting paid the fair amount that they needed for all their work
• Many moves led to people wanting change and making change for the better of the people living during the time of the Industrial revolution.

• People suffered a lot in factory jobs. Reasons being because pople had an 12-14 hour work schedual, Children were warking those same hours as the adults were.
• Because the children were really small they were able to get into the cracks of the matchines to fix them but sometimes it might have not endded well.
• people lost limbs to the matchines because it was not a safe space to work in.

• Because of many problems that were going on people gor tired of the things that went on and wanted chage.
• Women were trated differently then men were and were not allowed to vote and this was someting that had to be changed.
• Woman got paid unequally then how men were getting paid and this was because people thought that men were doing more then what woman did and hence foward they deserverd more of a pay.

• Changed were made during this time that took a lot of work to be able to acomplish it.
• Work hours were cut down from 12-14 to8 hours a day
• Children had two hours of school besides work
• Children under the age of 14 could not go to work
• Woman were givin the right to be able to vote and to have a voice.
