Both David Bennett, a relationships counselor, and Jamie Gruman, Ph.D., a psychologist, professor, and founding chair of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association say that it is very important to have free time every day.
Gruman says that even the shortest amount of leisure time can make you feel refreshed.
He said that you can spend 5 to 15 minutes walking at the park, reading a book and meditating, and that will be good enough to feel disposition again.
Bennett says that when you think you've had enough free time, you can have some more!
He also says that our free time activities must be chosen by ourselves, and not by our friends, family, or our bosses, for example.
