In 2015 about 730,000 tons of plastic bags, sacks and wraps were generated in the United States, but more than 87% of those items are never recycled, winding up in landfills and the ocean.

you see what happens is when the plastic bags dicomposes it emits dangerous methane and carbon dioxide gases as well as highly toxic leachates which causes air pollution which harms the soil. Along with causing air pollution the dicomposing plastic bags can also cause cancerous diseases for people which is another reason why plastic bags are such a big problem.

Even though New York and New Jersey implemented a no plastic bag law it's still not enough we need the whole country to be behind this cause. So i will go to every state's government and governor as well as the federal government with my social movement members to pass a law to remove all plastic products and replace it with reusable paper products. So the first step in that goal is to rally supports that support the law . Next we ask the state & federal government to make it a law and make it go through the usual law procedure. After that if it doesn't work we gain the support of big businesses that support the law so they can promote the cause and reach out to more people. After that we protest in front of a major audience whether that means tv shows or talk shows to get more eyes on the cause. Finally after that with all the supports and followers would go lobby in front of the state governments and federal government peacefully through powerfull speeches and protest until they decide to listen and grant our request.
