Facebook Inc. merged with Instagram and became its parent company in 2012. According to Investopedia, almost 60% of millennials in the U.S. are active Instagram users while almost 90% are Facebook members. Jobs have been created on these platforms that were once used solely to share images of your life with friends and family. Language and colloquialisms have become more prevalent in our society, too. Millennials have created a successful and easy way to make money using social media. Not only can they have a personal account, but many have become "Influencers" using business tools to create income.
