International tandem tour along the Danube on the EuroVelo 6 international bike route from Vienna to Budapest and mini-conferences in 4 cities

Open call to collect material for exhibition

During this period partners will:
- analyse the expectations from the project (conducting a survey that the group will work out together)
- research about inclusive sport methods
- choose and prepare the participants of the meetings and the cycling trip (participants will come partly from the members of the partner organisations, partly their collaborators and members of their target groups and professional networks)
- communicate about the project
- collaborate in the preparation of the detailed plan of activities during the tour
- create the material of the travelling exhibition through arranging and curating an open call
- partners in charge of organising the mini-conferences will, contact the local stakeholders at each location (target groups, NGOs, educational institutions, municipalities, decision makers, media, etc.)
The coordinator will:
- Organise and facilitate the 2-weekly meetings
- Coordinate the tasks done by partners, monitoring their progress and providing support
- Make the daily plan of the tours
- Make the necessary arrangements for accomodation, food, technical and HR issues to prepare the tour (mini-conference organisers collaborate locally)
- Coordinate and manage the budget and administration
- Create and manage platforms for the communication of the project (homepage, facebook, instagram, etc.)
- Reach out to communities, organisations and people along the route of the cycling trip to join us cycling for shorter stretches
Preparatory visit by the tour guide and project manager
The small delegation of the project team will ride through the route of the cycling trip and visit the main venues (accomodation, etc), to make sure that the management and navigation goes smoothly during the tour itself.
*Organising partners should join locally, if possible
During this period, the partners will conduct:
- Evaluation of the project activities
- Creation of educational material based on learning outcomes, and dissemination of this material
- Creation of a short documentary from the footage shot during the cycling trip and the TPM events, and using it in communication about the project
- Follow-up activities organised by project partners in their respective communities (presentations, workshops, photo exhibition of the tour, etc.)
- Mapping possible future plans that stem from the project
A follow-up meeting will be held for the partners in October 2021 in Szentendre, in order to evaluate the project, analyse in more detail the learning outcomes, and make future plans.
