- part or all of an endovascular procedure to be performed under MR guidance while having the X-ray cath lab as an easy fall-back position

- clearly shows the structure of blood vessels and allows us to navigate them
- maps the blood vessels and allows specialists to thread a catheter to the destination (Ex: clot)

- Ideal for displaying soft tissues and monitoring the progress of a procedure
- Significantly reduces the radiation dosage of using x-ray only
