- Hunted by hunters that did not know what would happen when they were gone
- Trapped, shot, netted, and clubbed , why would some try to do that
- The hunters even did it to the young called "squabs," that's so unfair right
- Trees holding nests cut down, imagine if those nests were your and your friends houses
West Virginia Water Shrew, Endangered
- Disturbances to forest environments
- Increased road building, and logging, People should only cut what they need
- Flooding or forest fires, that may even happen now
Live/Lived
Passenger Pigeon , Extinct
- They ranged over eastern North America
- Hudson's Bay south to the Gulf of Mexico
- West into the Mississippi River valley
- In mixed hardwood forests.
West Virginia Water Shrew, Endangered
- High-elevation mountain streams
- Deeply undercut banks, I wonder how deep they were
- Not usually found in steep gradient streams
- Found most often in mixed coniferous and deciduous forests with tree canopy closure of up to 90 percent and a moderate understory.

What we can do?
- aware of what animals need your help , and then help.
- Make sure you don’t have anything dangerous in your yard .
- . Try not to use toxins/chemicals.
- . Recycle and buy eco friendly products, also reuse reduce.
- Only have lights on when in the room.
- Help pick up trash, i think this is a really important one.
