Invention of the typographer (type writer)

The Typographer, patented by William Austin Burt in 1829, was America's first typewriter.

The reason that he built the machine was to speed up his work in official correspondence as a government surveyor.

Alexander Graham Bell was awarded to be the first U.S patent for creating the telephone.
