What is the difference between harrassment and flirting?

  • Rape: Forced sexual intercourse

  • Sexual assault: Unwanted sexual contact of any kind. May include touching, fondling, indecent exposure etc.
  • Sexual harrasment: any deliberate or repeated behavior that is sexual, gender based, or unwelcomed.

  • Stalking: any repeated behavior that would make a person feel fear.

Exceptions to consent

Someone who is drunk or on drugs can not consent.

Those under the age of 14 are not legally able to consent to any sexual activities.

Ages 15 to 17 get more complicated. They differ in severity based on participant ages and activities.

When one person is in a position of power. (i.e. teachers, coaches, clergy etc.)
