Date: December 9th, 1954
Description: Supreme Court case ruled that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional.
Historical Importance: This ruling ended the legalization of racial segregation in schools. This overruled the separate but equal principle that was put into place in the 1890's.

Description: This act provided resources to students with disadvantages to help them recieve equal education.
