Why Should We SLANT During Class?
S - We are using our body language to show we are ready to learn
L - Listen closely to show respect to the teacher and peers, and so we don't miss anything important
A - Students should feel comfortable to ask questions that help them to understand the content
N -Nodding shows that you are listening and paying attention
T - Tracking the speaker as they move around the room keeps us from getting distracted

Uniform checks will be conducted everyday as the students enter the building, and throughout the day as needed.
Consequences for uniform infractions (Tier 1) are as followed:
1. Correction / redirection by an adult
2. Documentation in EH and a parent phone call
3. GTL notified, documentation, and parent phone call
4. Continued infractions will lead to an Office referral
