The ordinary world
the ordinary world starts when we meet Te Fiti the goddess of life. We later see a demigod named Maui as he steals The Heart Of Te Fiti to give to the humans as a gift. We see him then get attacked by Te Ka a lava monster. Maui then looses the heart in the ocean. The scene is then cut to the ocean choosing a little girl (baby at the time) named Moana to help get the heart back but she is seperated from the ocean.

The call comes after we watch Moana grow up in her village and be taken away from the ocean and her mission to save everyone instead to learn how to be a good chief to her island and keep peace with everyone not leaving past their own little world. Once Moana's grandmother dies she tells Moana about her destiny given from the ocean and how she must do it for her, her grandmother give her the heart back and sends her to find Maui and give the heart back.

The Refusal comes when she finds Maui on an abandoned island and he refuses to help give back the heart.

the meeting comes when Maui teaches Moana to sail the boat to retrevie his magic fish hook that can help them give the heart back.

The threshold crossing comes when Maui and Moana go into the monster world to retrieve Maui's hook.

Test allies and enemies
We meet the enemy after they enter the spirit world and battle this big crab that doesn't want to give back the hook and they have a music number and they take the hook and leave the monster world and back to their world.

the ordeal comes when Maui is discouraged after not being able to use the hook and leaves Moana to get the heart back by herself.

the reward is given after Moana gets Maui's hook back to him and she gets to speak to her grandmothers spirit that incourages her to continue her journey to give the heart back.

the road back is when Moana goes back to continue the journey and she finds Te Ka and challenges her sorta. This causes Maui to come back and save her.

The resurrection happens when Moana realizes that Te Ka is really Te Fiti. When Moana gives Te Ka the heart she turns back into Te Fiti.She rewards Maui by giving him a new hook.

The return happens when Moana returns to her island and tells all her people of the world and they become travelers.
