Hello CCH Family / Welcome
The scene / the empty tomb
Mary Magdalene had just spoken
2 angels inside / she is still convinced / theives
And none other than Jesus Himself
...although she didn't recognize Him
...was standing behind her
...and asks the following questions.
Why are you crying? Whom are you seeking?
Mary was someone who was devoted to Jesus.
We find her at cross/burial/now empty tomb
...but her estimation or understanding of who
...He was...was too small
At that point she belived He was still dead.
We want to give her benefit of the doubt...
as the people closest / Jesus /family/disciples
...were not expecting the resurrection.
Sometimes I wonder...
...with all the information we have on this
...side of the cross
Would Jesus ask us the same questions when
we are facing tough times / trials/tribulations
...and we too are looking for Him
Why are you crying? Whom are you seeking?
Allow me to rephrase...
Why are you allowing your current situation
to affect you so greatly?
What were you expecting?
As you are seeking Me, what do you think My
...capabilities are?
Do you believe I can see you through/trial/trib?
Do you understand I am in control of every
...circumstance in your life?
Do you realize I allowed this to happen for your
..sanctification and My glory?
Have you underestimated Me?
Whom are you seeking?
Whatever the cause of her underestimation of
..who Jesus was or what He was capable of
...all it took was a single word from His mouth
to shift her from doubt/belief from grief/joy.
Now we problably shoudn't count on
an audible calling of our name from our Lord
to snap us out of unbelief or limiting Jesus
...but he has provided us with 770,430 words
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

living and powerful, and
sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing even to the
division of soul and spirit,
and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and

May I dare say thoroghly equipped for...
...every trial and tribulation.
It also equips us to see how big our God is...
and that He is limitless, and sovereign.
There is nothing wrong w/ crying or feeling..
...overwhelmed by your circumstances, but
...when you seek the only source for relief...
...remember Whom you are seeking...
...and you'll be that much closer to the peace
...which surpasses all understanding.
