Lacy came, the newest yellow yarn ball employee of B.R.O.
Lacy was like Purl, when she first started. She was an enthusiastic happy pink ball of yarn.
Purl notices that Lacy got left out just like when she arrived. She then went back to go bring Lacy along with them and include her. She did this because she remembered who she used to be before she started to change herself to fit in.

The story ends with a diverse and harmonic environment between balls of yarn and men. There are now equal numbers of yarn and men and they work together while accepting each other's differences. Purl's noble act of kindness towards Lacy provoked a realization for the workers at B.R.O. as well as for the viewers. We learn valuable lessons from Purl such as the importance of being yourself and being proud of who you are.
