The mountain Tundra is a combination of mountain and tundra biomes where land is frozen during all the year, there is very little vegetation due to the extreme conditions and the animals mainly live at the bottom of the mountain where there is more tundra characteristics than mountain ones.
Goats are one of the few animals that go up in the mountains.

Tundra
Tundra is the coldest biome in Russia. The land is frozen during winter and in summer it thaws and small plants grow.
The animals that live there are: musk ox,arctic foxes,polar bears,brown bears and reindeer.
Humid Continental
The humid continental is the most populous part of Russia. Its main characteristic is that it's seasons are very different, from hot to cold and with humid summers.
The animals in it are: bears,wolves,deer,coyote...
Its vegetation is mainly forests of different types.
Taiga

The taiga biome,or boreal forest is one of the coldest biomes in earth. It's vegetation consists mainly on coniferous trees,such as: spruces,pines and lurches.
The temperature on winter is about -54 and -1 degrees and with lots of snow and during summer the max temperature is of 21 degrees.
The animals that live there are mainly: deer, moose and hares.
Steppe
The steppe is nearly the same as the mountain steppe but with some differences.
The main one is the temperature that allows crops to be grow on steppe but not on mountain steppe.An other one the amount of grass that grows because as the temperature is a bit higher at steppe biomes there is much more grass and for that more animals.
Semi-desert
The semi-desert or semi-arid biome is the name given to the zones where there is very little rain, the temperature is quite high and only small plants ,like shrubs grow.
The animals on it are mice and other rodents and eagles that eat them.
It's also Russia's smallest biome.
Mountain forest

The mountain forest,or Alpine biome is a cold biome at a high altitude. The mountain forest biome is a mixture of deciduous forest and mountain range. The highest temperature is 15 degrees and the lowest -30.
Some of the animals that live there are: martens, otters and beavers.
Mountain Steppe
The mountain steppe is one of the smaller biomes in Russia, it's located south, just beside Mongolia.
It's high flat land used to rear cattle because it's to dry to hold any other plants except from grass.
