the mouth is where all the food goes into the body the mouth includes: teeth, a tonge, and saliva glands,

Size: a cats mouth opens very wide,they have 30 teeth, and it is very are specaliy built for killing prey

the esophagus is where the feed is transported from the mouth to the stomach. it is located next to the trachea.

the stomach is a single sompartment where secretes acids and enzymes that begin digestion of food. breaks down the food into a liquid or paste

the liver is where it ensures detoxification and excretion of endogensous and exogenous waste. acts as a blood cleanser

in the pancreas it makes pancreatic jucies called enzymes, they break down sugars, fats. and starches. it also helps your digestive systme by making hormones

the gallbladder rests in the abdomen, acts as a storge receptacle for bile, a fluid that is essential for digesting food in the stomach and intestines

the cecum absorbs fluids and salts that remain after completion of intestignal digestion and absorbtion and to mix its contens with a lubricating substance

the small intestines abosorbs food particles, it also absorbs other materials such as wagter electrolytes and other molecules. it provides nutriengts to the body.

the large instestine serves two major functions, extraction of water and electrolytes from the fluid contents of the lumen and control of defection

the anus has two muscular shincters that act as a door, holding the stool inside the body until it is approprite to defecate.
