Colons

Colons usually found in explanations and lists.

Semi-Colons

I wasn't feeling well, I decided to stay home for a bit.

Acting like a period, the semi-colon doesn't require conjunctions after it, (unless its aconjecutive adverb) and can be used to seporate items in a list.

Hyphens

Hyphens are used in compound words, including six-hundred-sixtey-six, and I-don't-know-what-to-put-here-so-I-put-something-long-and-random-lol.
