Goat Reproduction

By Keely Brooks 8B

How are goats Born

The egg and sperm get together to create the baby

In the first stages of labor the uterus contracts and dialates, pushing the new born baby goat against the neck of the uterus (Cervix) and this lasts about 12 hours.

Next a bubble will form and the doe will then commence trying to push out the baby.

Scientists have found ways to make a artificial birth simulation for goats that are prematurely born.
