There are many levels of organization. They go from smallest to largest, cell, tissue, organ, organ system, and organism.

Cells

Cells are the smallest unit of life. The basic unit of structure in an organism. All plants and animals, including humans, are made of cells.

The four main tissues are connective tissue, nerve tissue, muscle tissue, and epithelial tissue.

A tissue is a group of similar cells that work together to perform a particular function.

Organs are the third part of the levels of organization. It is a group of tissue that work together to perform a task. The bodies functions are connected by organs. The heart, lungs, liver, eyes,and stomach are all organs.

Some examples of an organ system are digestive, respiratory, and nervous system.

The organ system is a group of organs that work together to perform a specific function.

Organism

Organism

The organism is a living thing. Humans, animals, and plants are some examples of organisms. This is the last level of organization.
