Dwight L. Moody

Dwight Lyman Moody

Birth

Dwight was born into a very big and poor family in Northfield, Massachusetts.

His mother taught him to trust God and never complain about what they didn't have.

A New

Job &

Goal

At 17, Dwight wanted to make money so he would never be poor again.

He went to work for his uncle in a shoe store.

While working for his uncle, his uncle made him promise to work hard, ask questions, and go to church and Sunday school every week.

"I promise,

Uncle"

Mr. Kimball was Dwight's Sunday school teacher. He came to the shoe store one day and witnessed to Dwight. Dwight accepted Christ that day!!

Now, Dwight doesn't want to make money. He wants to see others saved!
