Stages Of

Production

Post-Production

Stage 4:

Filming is finished and the editing begins. Raw footage is cut, other footage is put together, adding music and sound effects and much more editing effects and techniques.

Pre-Production

Stage 2:

developing on ideas and brainstorming even more. Sorting out everything that needs to happen before the camera starts rolling.

Development

Stage 1:

This stage of the production proccess includes things like gaining initial ideas of the story and all the different characters as well as creating a draft of the script. As well as the creatice side you must also look at the financial logistics of the project and what you must budget for.

Production

Stage 3:

The cameras start rolling and the actual shooting/recording begins to take place with cameras actors and licensed locations.

Distribution

Stage 5:

This is where the film is published to the world and sold to TV networks and streaming services as well as releasing direct to DVD
