1941

  • Elie Wiesel meets Moishe the beatle(pg 4)
  • all foreign Jews were expelled from Sighet. (pg6)

This was Moishe the Beatle before everything started to happen.

"They called him Moishe the Beadle...I got to know him towards the end of 1941." (pg.1)

  • Moishe wants to try and warn others when he comes back.
  • Citizens thinks Moishe starts to go crazy and doesn't believe him when other people start to die.

This is where the women, the young, and the selected were if not gased then burned.
