Weigh out 2.5 grams of Copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate
Pour the chemical into a 100 mL beaker.
Dissolve the chemical in about 50 mL of water in the 100 mL beaker.
Transfer this to a 100 mL volumetric flask using a funnel.
Continue to add water to the volumetric flask until the 100 mL mark.
Invert or turn upside down several times to mix thoroughly.
Use the the formula M1V1 = M2V2 and measure out, depending on the molarity your want, the amount of solution to put in the graduated cylinder
Pour the solution in the graduated cylinder in a different volumetric flask
Fill the volumetric flask to the 100 ml mark with water
Put the stopper on the flask and turn it a few time until it mixes.
