Large scale human change of water has significantly alerted global patterns of stream flow.
Human sewage or cattle manure that is untreated also causes water pollution in the same way fertilizers do.
Things such as
-sedimentation
-Runoff
-pH.
These are all factors That affect the quality of water.
pH stands for potential hydrogen the "p" stand for potential and the "H" stand for hydrogen. A pH scale is a scale used to rank the acidity of substances to other substances.
Eroded soil from construction sites is carried to streams and lakes where it causes excess turbidity that harms aquatic life, and increases water treatment cost
Toxic runoff can pollute surface waters like rivers and lakes, as well as seep into underground ground supplies.
Thermal Pollution!!!!
Thermal Pollution is when the temperature of the water is changed by Humans. As a result of this the natural filters of water (Fish) can die which can make are water dirty and undrinkable. Warm water has less oxygen and that hurts the organisms that live in the water.
70% of our Earth is made up of water even then only 2.5% is fresh and less than 1% of that 2.5% is already drinkable and ready to go to drink the rest of that fresh water is either Groundwater, Glaciers, or ice packs.
How much water on earth is actually drinkable??
