The Gerund
We use it in the Present and Past Continuous, but also when you turn a verb into a noun.
Practice:
- Write down what you love.
- Write down what you hate.
You then use it after words like 'hate' 'like' 'love' and 'start' and such a lot.
Like so:
I hate walking.
I love dancing.
She always starts talking.
