The Witch Trials First began when a group of girls Sarah Good, Sarah Osbourne and Tituba were claimed to be possessed by the devil and after that many others were accused along with them

What were the Salem Witch Trials

The Salem Witch Trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts from February 1692 to May 1693. More than two hundred people were charged. Thirty were found guilty, nineteen of them executed by hanging

Who was Elisabeth Hubbard

Elisabeth Hubbard was a girl who around 1692 accussed many men and women of afflicting her with a sickness. Of those accused and/or testified against by Hubbard, a total of 15 were executed, one died in prison and one was tortured to death for refusing to continue his trial

William Phips was a Governer back in 1692. He stopped the use of the printing press during the witch trials because he didn't want to start the needless disputes of the people he also ended the witch trials on October 29th 1692.

Who was Dorothy Good

Dorothy Good was a 4yr old girl who was accused of witch craft. She was taken in a while after her mother Sarah Good and was interrogated for two weeks. She was so tired and worn out that she gave in a told them what they wanted to hear, that her mom was a witch, that she worked with the devil and her mom had given her a snake once and it had bitten her. then she died sometime after 1721.

The First Witch Execution

The first witch execution was Bridget Bishop on June 10, 1692. Bridget was a women who didn't act puritan like, she was often found in the tavern and has had multiple marriages. To avoid getting hangged she gave up her good name in the community, then was founded guilty by many towns people.
