phase I

As a small kid, I lived in Gjilan, a small city east of Kosovo.

at school, I loved math, languages, and art.

on my free time, I enjoyed reading, playing, and spending time with my dog

I moved to the capital city, Prishtina, to attend high school

Apart from studies, I found my passion for volunteering, involved myself in sustainability projects, and learned new languages.

With a group of students, we took part in "Scaling up HIV prevention in Kosovo, Youth Component - Make Love, Not AIDS" project where we held trainings for high school and upper secondary school pupils on the same topic

As part of the YFoE Europe, we founded the Balkan Youth Climate Movement, one of the firsts grassroots network of young people in the Balkans working together on social and environmental justice issues.

The first gathering took part in Šolta Island in Croatia where we stayed for three weeks in an abandoned former army base living minimally and creating a climate movement strategy for the Balkans.

Throughout the summer of 2012, attended workshops organized by the Civic Education School aiming for democracy, building, community service, youth activism, inter-ethnic cooperation, and human rights.

Life Up North

International Business student at Häme University of Applied Sciences

I did my major in Marketing as I enjoyed the courses that challenged my creativity. Those were mainly the ones related to communications, design, and culture.

Studying, to me, is more than reading books and attending university lectures. I remained true to myself and filled my time with other activities that shaped me into who I am today.

Prezi Brand Ambassador

https://medium.com/@prezoes/latest

Ran a campaign within 8 university campuses which aimed at helping students create better presentations and become better presenters.

Co-founded "Prezoes" with a team of 3 students from Italy, Brazil, and India using Prezi, Pinterest, and Medium as a channel of sharing the best presentation practices.
