Time is: 12:49 Patients Sinus Tachycardia rhythm has changed to Ventricular Fibrillation and CPR has started using Ambu bag.

The Code leader Dr. Shocker has arrived.

Nurses Betty Bop and Nancy Nice are here.

The Defibrillator Pads remain on patient and the backboard has been placed. The defibrillator is here. A shock of 120J has been given.

Time is: 12:52

V Fib continues and CPR performed for 2 minutes with Ambu bag.

Scenario #2

Time is: 12:54 V Fib continues then 150J shock delivered.

CPR Continues...

Time is: 12:56

with Ambu bag for 2 minutes then Epinephrine 1mg IVP with 10 cc NS flush administered.

V FIB Continues...

and shock of 200J delivered. CPR continues for 2 minutes with Ambu bag

Time is:

Time is 13:02 and V FIB still on the monitor. Amio 300mg IVP given with 10 cc NS flush.

CPR continues for 2 minutes.

Time is:

13:04

Patient is intubated.

ETT 8.0 and ETCO2 connected with level of 20.

ABG, Troponin, Electrolytes and CBC drawn.

Time is 13:06 V FIB Continues...

and shock 200J delivered.

Pulse checked and present. Rhythm now Sinus Bradycardia HR 50

Time is 13:09 and...

VS: HR 35, B/P 68/30, SPO2 96%, ETCO2 36%. Atropine 1mg IVP given 10 cc NS flush.

External pacemaker is activated

Pacing rate defaulted to 70. mA 80 and pacing spikes and pulse present.

Time is:

13:12

Time is 13:14 VS: HR 70, B/P 120/78, SPO2 100%, V-Paced 100%. ETCO2 37%

Time is 13:16 Cath lab notified for possible PCI.

Patient’s wife Jane Smith is notified. Patient responding to commands!
