The year is 1330, and I just returned from Mecca. I had quite the journey as I just completed a hajj. A Hajj is like a long walk to Mecca, where I met a fair share of Muslims along the way.
Throughout my journey or "Hajj" to Mecca, I met many dangers and had numerous adventures along the way. I was viciously attacked by bandits, almost drowned in a sinking ship, and nearly beheaded by a tyrant ruler. These were all probably the scariest moments in my life.
After my Hajj, I decided to take a little trip to new land. Along the way of my exploration, I sailed to the Arabian Sea, The Red Sea, and the Persian Gulf.
Knowing that I wasnt the first European traveler ever, I definetly think that my experience was the best.
I met someone interesting on my journey. He was a mongolian citizen named Kublai Khan. We talked for a while and ate food together.
On my journey, I met a lot of people who come from different backgrounds. Buddhists, Muslims, Christains, Jews, etc.
Today we are sailing towards Japan. When I get to Japan, I plan on collecting the tributes to China, like I do when I visit other places.
As I visit different places along the way, I am truly spreading the Chinese culture. After I leave, I can still sense that my culture is being spread.
Today, my ship is sailing to another place. As I enter, I feel very welcomed, but I am constantly being stared at. We stay the night, eat, and then pack up, and head out for another day of exploration
