Ibn Battuta, Marco Polo, and Zheng He Project

Ibn Battuta Postcards

The year is 1330, and I just returned from Mecca. I had quite the journey as I just completed a hajj. A Hajj is like a long walk to Mecca, where I met a fair share of Muslims along the way.

Throughout my journey or "Hajj" to Mecca, I met many dangers and had numerous adventures along the way. I was viciously attacked by bandits, almost drowned in a sinking ship, and nearly beheaded by a tyrant ruler. These were all probably the scariest moments in my life.

As I visit different places along the way, I am truly spreading the Chinese culture. After I leave, I can still sense that my culture is being spread.
