Rhetorical Strategy
Topic 1
-Rhetorical Strategy is the specific approach a writer uses to achieve a purpose.
-These strategies, also called rhetorical modes or techniques, help a writer organize evidence, connect facts into a sequence, and provide clusters of information necessary for conveying a purpose or an argument.
In other words, rhetorical strategies are things you do to writing or a presentation to get a certain point across.
Rhetorical Strategy
- You will all have the same 2 purposes:
- Entertain/Engage the audience
- Support your argument/claim
- There are numerous ways to achieve this.
