Improvement
The Start
From what I have been through I would say I have improved a lot but there is still lots of room for improvement.
At the beginning of this course, the only thing I knew was how to combine some videos and audio together or some pictures with the audio running at the back using some simple mobile applications.

In my introduction in my blog, i had mentioned that my main point of interest was photography, i used to take those pictures through a mobile (mostly Android) or a very simple camera model. When the classes started, the first thing (in photography/videography) we learnt was how to position things properly and about rules of third etc.

One of the first things we did physically in our classes were to see where we stood at first with our editing.
These pictures are available in my blog, just search in "Prelimiary Tasks" and both of them should appear.
For my first preliminary task I took photography in which I had to take pictures of sceneries (Because I am interested in that kind of photography) and edit them the best I could without adding in anything extra.
My second preliminary task was to create a Disney montage and to see where we stood with our editing skills. To say at the beginning, my skills weren’t that good (as seen in my first edit ) .
Task 1
My path of improvement consisted of various YouTube videos regarding the softwares i would be using during this project. Even though in total I might have used a total of 2 softwares and even for those, even though sometimes the way of doing it was very clear, just for confirmation I would watch a short video (kinda like the situation during math exams when you pick up your calculator just to check whether 2+2 really does equal to 4) and then continue working on it.
How?
With the help of my mentor who was always ready to provide us with any kind of help, we eve visited media workshops held by M.A.H.E. University (Manipal University) where we got a chance to meet with both Dubai and Internationally famous directors, cinematographers, scriptwriters, etc who advised us and shared their experience in this career path.

The most important development which I feel I achieved is managing the amount of time for my video. For my first edit which was the montage, no matter how hard I tried, there was no absolute way I could cut that short, because well at that time like cutting the scene would be cutting the scenes beauty off which hence resulted in a 3 min and 45/54 seconds video with extremely long scenes.
But now, compared to my opening sequence, I feel better because well first I was able to cut of scenes where ever I felt they were a bit too long. Even if the scenes were pretty i was able to cut them off.
Another development of mine is my knowledge in camera angles. Before, the camera angles which were mostly used were high angle and small angles like that, but I had no idea why but through these courses these things were clarified and honestly opened a new world for me where I take much more better pictures than I did before. Because now I have the power of the knowledge of the positioning and camera angles with me.
But.....
But, it is not like i am perfect in this, there is still a lot of room for improvement in every department and i wish that through out the years i am able to improve myself even more and succeed in the path I will choose for myself in the future.
