THE "BLITZ"

600 B.C.

In London,some people hid in the Tube because it's underground and is sheltered. In the space of 24 days, 5300 tons of bombs were dropped in the UK. In German, BLITZ means "lightning war."Some policeman came round to warn people that bombs were going to be dropped.

INTRODUCTION

200 B.C.

The reason World War 2 started is because the Germans lost World War 1 which lead to them having to pay huge fines . Adolf Hitler rose to power and promised to make Germany great . German invaded Britain's allies, Poland so Chamberlain declared war on the third of September 1939.
