how is it formed?

past simple in regular verbs

what if the verb finishes in y?

we add -ed at the end

what if the verb already finishes in e??

For instance,

the past of HELP is HELPED

We need to change Y into I, and then add -ED

For instance, the past of CRY is CRIED

Then, we only add -D

For instance,

the past of LIKE is LIKED

DON'T HAVE TO means is not necessary to do something, but you can do it if you want!
