My desire to change the world

I am influenced by all people of color who work to make this world a better place

Successful black men and women who are trying to make a difference

  • I am especially influenced by Black female doctors
  • Black people who use their wealth and knowledge to help the next generation

Present Day

My Affiliations and Perception of Culture

Affiliations

I am a member of the HBCU community now that I attend Howard

I am also a woman in STEM but not only a woman but a woman of color

I have joined the community of color that travels

I am apart of a community of Hebrew Israelites

I once viewed the world without color but I can no longer do that

  • Being a woman of color has shown me the world is racist and white-cis male dominated
  • Growing up in Tennessee gave me a first-hand experience to white supremacy
  • The way I view the world is people of color must work together and lift up one another to break the chains of oppression and systematic racism
  • My world travels have shown me that not every non-POC harbors racism so I still believe in humanity in all people
