The unjust treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

In the book, Chay was bullied and harassed because of where he was from. People at the school didn't accept him because he was different than everybody else. Which that led to a series of events that were very harmful to Chay. This is all discrimination.

Discrimination is something people don't acknowledge anymore. People all around the world get bullied and harassed, like Chay, just for being DIFFERENT. Discriminating someone can become a bad habit for most people. Discrimination can lead to lots of different changes in a person.

  • Also when a person gets treated differently than a "normal" person.
