Racial Harmony Day 2021

Racial Harmony Day

When/Why celebrate Racial Harmony Day?

Racial Harmony Day is celebrated on the

21st of July every year.

This is to commemorate the racial riot in 1964, whereby many people were injured and some lives were lost.

Today, we celebrate the success of Singapore's attempt in creating a racially harmonious society filled with rich heritage and cultural diversity.
