Why you?
Is the purpose of your presentation the same as your ultimate dream?
What outcomes do you expect?
What reaction are you expecting to see from the audience right after the presentation?
What long lasting impression will they have in the following days, months, or years?

Know your audience!
You must first understand who the audience is. Without that, you cannot possibly hope to entertain, inform and engage them.
What is your key message?
Choose your key messages wisely. People are less likely to remember more than one core message. It is wise to support your main message with 2-3 sub-messages.
Let’s use a hook!
You have about 15-45 seconds to capture the attention of the audience. A hook or grabber is the part of your speech that captures the audience’s attention. This should come at the beginning of your talk, where it can be the most beneficial. Audiences are busy and have a lot on their minds as they listen to your presentation.
The story
Storytelling is a crucial component to effective public speaking. It makes the audience relate to your story, providing additional detail and mental visuals that brings it to life.
