Cheyne Book Club
Welcome everyone to the Cheyne Book Club! You may know that as we grow, we tend to think outside of the box and this is what CBC is about. We provided a place where special students can do something extraordinary that Cheyne hasn't even imagined about yet. Martin Luther King Jr. once stated that " Lightning makes no sound until it strikes". This quote can help our members to think extraordinarily. This is because in MLK's quote, we can connect it to us being the lightning. This describes the people that have lots of talent, but are too nervous to show it to the world around us. When we finish our first book, we as lightning will make a sound, and it will positively impact Cheyne. We will leave a legacy behind to show what we did and how we did it. This is a club that Cheyne hasn't even imagined of doing, so without further or do, lets explore the Cheyne Book Club
If you weren't here during the information session, this club is about expressing your imagination onto a piece of paper. And do not forget this. Books are not just a bunch of pages with writing. You can imagine of what a book can be and if you don't, it will then be just a book. Let's discuss a little bit about this club
First of all, we will be separating you guys into groups based on your skills. These groups are: The Writers, The Artists, The Producers, and The Brainstormers. In the next meeting, you guys will be tested based on your skills for me to understand for where to put you guys, so be ready. If you have all of the skills, you can even be in all of the groups, but there will be more responsibilities. These skills will help you a lot when you enter high school because you gain special skills like responsibility, and leadership. In high school, these skills will be tested. For now, this can help you because if you work hard, you can get promoted.
