Highlights so far
HIGHLIGHTS SO FAR
I am most proud of my lexile because it is the highest I ever got. One thing I learned so far this year is diffrent kind of region in California.
Writing and Reading
writing and reading
The reading lexile for 5th grade is 840 and above. My lexile is 734. My personal reading goal is 754 by the end of October. To achieve this goal I will Read more. At the end of the school year , I would like a lexile of 840. Something we have done in writing so far is paragraphs on greatness. A personal writing goal that I have is writing stories and comic books. I will work on this by writing More.
Math

I need to work more at standard algrothim
Something we have worked on math so far is money fractions
I feel confident with money fractions.
PBL
What is the driving Question of our project? Why would someone want to live in a particular region of California. The climate of my region is mostly wet and cool and sometimes sunny. The vegetation of my region is mostly palm trees, avocados and cocos. Some land features and bodies of water are San Fransico and bodies of water is San Fransico Bay. Some structures in my region are houses on stilts.
