It didn't take long for Hawk to excel at skateboarding. By the age of 12, he got his first sponsor, Dog town skateboards. Two years later, he became a professional skateboarder. Hawk was considered one of the top skateboarders in the world by the time he was 16 years old.

Nyjah Huston started skating at the age of five. By seven years old he got his first sponsor, Element Skateboards, and by eleven he won the 2005 Tampa Am. In 2008, after turning Pro, Nyjah disappeared from the skate scene when his father, and then manager, moved Nyjah to Puerto Rico.

In 2007, at the age of 16, Felipe's Dad sold the family car so Felipe could follow his dreams and make the trip to Tampa Am.
