Obesity & Being Stuck To Your Phone

Using technology for excessive periods of time can lead to reduced or no physical activity. This reduction of physical activity can cause obesity.

Obesity

Sometimes you may be stuck to your phone and don't feel like making yourself a proper meal and choose to order fast food which can also cause obesity.

Anti-Social

Being on your phone and talking through your phone for long periods of time can get you used to people not seeing your face. This can lead to being anti-social.

Being anti-social may cause:

  • Not wanting to go outside
  • Not wanting to see people
  • Easily irritated
  • Arrogant
  • Socially awkward

Prevention

  • Take exercise breaks (go for a run, bike, walk,)
  • Make sure to but your phone down every once in awhile
  • Turnoff Notifications
  • Cook your own meals
  • Talking to people outside of technology
